Oh my goodness!

I just ruined by site. Yeah, right. Unbelievable! I am so mad. Grrr…

I was just uploading new plugins to my Cpanel and for some reason this specific plugin I was working on made everything on my sidebar disappear. So I checked what was wrong. Then I found out that all my plugins created a duplicate at wp-content//plugins (see the two forward slashes?) It is supposed to go to wp-content/plugins (the one with a single forward slash) only. But somehow I had duplicate plugins on both directory.

So thinking that the plugins are really duplicate, I deleted all my plugins located at wp-content//plugins. But when I checked the other directory, the plugins were gone as well.

Now i’m gonna have to start all over again. I wanna cry! I don’t even have a back up of all my files. When I checked my current theme, the sidebar.php is also gone. I don’t know why it got affected.

All I know is that all the time I spent working on this blog just vanished into thin air. Leaving me with  no trace at all. Shame on me.

P.S: Hihimatayin ata ako! Please let me know if there’s still a way for me to retrieve those files back. I need them so badly. Naku, aatakehin yata ako sa puso! Huhuhu.

    hmm ate.. im not really sure kung anong good way to restore your sidebar.php.. ahm.. wala ka bang backup sa mismong computer mo po? or.. nahalungkat mo na yung buong wordpress files mo po? baka nadoble din?

    awww sis nawala yung files moh sis? wala ka ba back up sa pc moh sayang naman nakakainis pa naman pag ganyan d moh alam kung san kakagilapin ang back up.

    naku sis…that happened sa file ko…at sad to say,,,wala po back up files kaya wala na din way to retrieved the file. depende nalang yun sis kung meron ka backup… :(
