Everytime I hear Bea Alonzo sing on ASAP, I would always tell my husband that she has a good singing voice. But I never thought that she could really sing that well.
So when I heard her own rendition of I’m Missing you on Boy and Kris (she sang it LIVE, mind you) a few weeks ago, I was mesmerized by the way she sang it. It’s awesome! As a matter of fact, it’s better than Meja’s original version. I love the passion in her voice. You could really feel the emotions she put into it. Her The Real Me album really shows how talented she is. I am happy for her. It’s true that you don’t really need to have a high-pitched voice to become a singer. For me, voice quality is more important.
I never really liked this song before. But I love Bea’s version of it!

I’m Missing You – Bea Alonzo

I miss your love since you’ve been gone
I find it hard to go on
The summer sky don’t mean a thing
I thought I’d always be strong
I got a feeling inside
and it’s making my heart cry, cause
I’m missing you
and it’s making me blue, yeah
I’m missing you
but what can I do
Thousand miles away, from you
So here I am, and everything’s new
I should be happy in love
but all I know, I look deep in my eyes
I’ve never felt so alone
and this feeling inside
it’s making my heart cry, cause
I’m missing you
and it’s making me blue, yeah
I’m missing you
but what can I do
Thousand miles away, from you
So what’s the meaning of this
to be living like this
it ain’t no fun at all
I wonder where are you now
(I wonder where are you now)
I miss your love since you been gone
I find it hard to go on
and this feeling inside
I just break down and cry

Our bosses recently went to the US for a business trip and they brought this box full of 2GB Kodak SD cards when they came back. We were given one SD card each but I was lucky enough to get two! The other one was given to me by my former trainer and friend, Jaybee, who also joined the said business trip. I am so happy because I’ve been planning to buy SD cards for our two digital cameras (512 and 128 mb lang kasi ang meron kami). Each SD card costs $30 or more if you’re going to purchase it from the US. But here in the Philippines, it costs 2k each the last time I checked! Whoa!

The Pleasures cologne was given to us by our Training and Quality Manager (QA Team lang ang meron nito! Haha. Thank you, Sir Carlo!). The Revlon Lipstick was given to me by one of my agents. Ang sweet nila, ‘no?
I have just transferred this blog to a new server!
I want a large disk space and bandwidth so when I discovered the hosting packages that Pink-host.info offers, I decided to buy the Pink Pro Plan for only $2 a month (eventhough I already paid my previous host for one year). And guess what?! It’s got UNLIMITED disk space and bandwidth! That is way too cool huh? Here are the other features of the hosting plan that I purchased.

Anyway, you will be seeing broken links when you click on some of my blog’s pages coz I haven’t fixed them all yet. I have installed Wordpress 2.6 and as I expected, some of the plugins I’m currently using are not yet compatible with it.

I am not sure why I suddenly lost the urge to blog…
There are so many things I wanted to share but I guess I am just too tired to start writing about things that people won’t find interesting anyway. And besides, I don’t wanna talk about work all the time. That’ll be way too boring for my readers!
Moving forward, has anyone upgraded to Wordpress 2.6 yet? I might upgrade this blog this weekend. But isn’t it weird (and at the same time – amazing) how developers can release a new version way too soon? I just mentioned on my previous post that I’d just upgraded this blog to 2.5.1 and then all of a sudden when I logged in to my WP admin page, there goes this UPDATE ALERT stating that Wordpress 2.6 has just been released!
The bottom line is, I just wanna make sure that all the plugins I’m using on this blog are compatible with the latest version. Otherwise, I might as well wait for the plugin developers to upgrade all the plugins they developed so they will be compatible with Wordpress 2.6. Waiting for a month or two won’t hurt for sure, will it?
