From Manila Papers to Projectors

I’ve learned how to use projectors in college. We used to present our class reports using MS PowerPoint, as we bid goodbye to the good old Manila papers. But working between a laptop and a projector is sometimes tricky. The latter would sometimes fail to work and we would end up consuming a precious 10-20 minutes just to set it up. Nonetheless, it proved to be a better alternative and with those kinds of presentations, we’d get the attention of the entire class. At the office, we are using an LCD DLP projector.

They say there’s a huge difference between LCD and DLP projectors, but an end-user like me is not seeing it. Who cares anyway?! *big grin*

Have A Safe Ride!

It’s good to know that many motorcycle drivers are now very much aware of the danger that awaits them if they neglect to wear their helmets.

I was on morning shift yesterday and had the opportunity to commute again. It didn’t surprise me anymore that some female commuters chose to ride on motorcycles to beat the traffic and get home in no time. It was almost 6pm and they were probably rushing home to cook dinner for their dear children and husband.

In all fairness, the motorcycle drivers at the terminal provide extra scorpion helmets for a safe ride.

I wish they all got home safe and sound.

Dear Diary

Found my college diary the other day and felt awkward reading my old entries. Yikes! Can’t believe I wrote them! LOL. What was I thinking?!

Jobs Finder

I find it amazing that because of the existence of Internet, it’s now easier to search and apply for a job that fits our qualifications.

Nowadays, job search engines are the most effective and easiest way to look for a job. By utilizing these tools, one is given quick access to a thousand of classified ads, job boards, company career websites and even newspapers. There’s also a social networking website called LinkedIn that helps you connect to people of the same profession and provides a job search function.
