Ecommerce Cart Software

I am an avid online shopper.

Being a mom of two active kids and a full-time call center employee, I rarely have time to go to the malls to shop.

Why bother when I know there are many e-commerce websites I can count on? Talk about the power of technology! It makes our lives easier. :-)

When I have a business of my own in the future, I plan to sell online to increase my revenue because virtual stores are quite attractive to people in the corporate world. It’s easy to pay via credit card, more so if you have a PayPal account.

Last year, a friend mine set up an online bookstore that caters to Christians who want to grow in their relationship with God. The ease-of-use was awesome and it was so organized! The books are organized by price, by title and by category. The coolest thing is, it has a shopping cart installed too! I checked the details of her site and saw that it was running on WordPress – the same platform that I use for all my blogs.

I thought WordPress was just for blogs! (but it’s proven wrong now. Hehe.)

Anyway, to cut the long story short — I installed the ecommerce cart software (WordPress plugin) on one of my blogs and tested how it works. Oh boy, it was very easy to navigate! I could set up an online store of my own in an instant!

And since Christmas is just around the corner, why don’t I think of products that I can sell online?

Hmmm…*thinking*

This is a sponsored post from an ecommerce solution company. However, the views and opinions are my own.

I Heart Blogging!

I’ve been working on this new blog for the past few days, and I am happy to announce that it’s finally up and running!

Whew!

Needless to say, setting up a new blog entails a lot of hard work and a handful of patience. Especially when you’re getting an intermittent internet connection all throughout. *sigh*

Hope you can drop by! And since I’m still working on its traffic, why don’t we exchange links? :-)

Thanks to my Facebook friends for following I Heart Blogging! I hope I would be able to update it regularly though. *fingers crossed*

Seriously?!

I can’t believe this. My blog finally has a page rank! Whoa! Anong nakain ng Google at bumait sa blog ko? Haha. Just so you know, I worked very hard for years to achieve the PR value that I lost when I transferred this domain from one web host to another, but to no avail.

And now that I don’t even lift a finger, my page rank is back! Oh well…

I find it weird, but I’m thankful. :-) Okay, I’m hitting the sack now. Good night!

Under Construction

My family and I just came back from a 6-day vacation in Bohol yesterday. I apologize if I haven’t fixed this blog until now. This is probably the busiest month of my life ever! I had to take care of all the year-end reports in the office before leaving for Bohol, which was pretty time-consuming and stressful. Then Greggy celebrated his 3rd birthday last week so I had to prepare a small family celebration at home too.

Anyway, I’m going back to work tonight and I’m quite sure I have a lot of catching up to do so I’ll be very busy till the end of January. I’ll be fixing this site as soon as I can and will be blogging about our vacation in Bohol. We took more than one thousand pictures! Hahaha!

By the way, it’s my 28th birthday tomorrow. Tatanda na naman ako! Hay….

New server + WordPress 2.6

I have just transferred this blog to a new server! :-)

I want a large disk space and bandwidth so when I discovered the hosting packages that Pink-host.info offers, I decided to buy the Pink Pro Plan for only $2 a month (eventhough I already paid my previous host for one year). And guess what?! It’s got UNLIMITED disk space and bandwidth! That is way too cool huh? Here are the other features of the hosting plan that I purchased.

Anyway, you will be seeing broken links when you click on some of my blog’s pages coz I haven’t fixed them all yet. I have installed WordPress 2.6 and as I expected, some of the plugins I’m currently using are not yet compatible with it. :-(
