Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all!
Can’t wait for Noche Buena later. Hehe. Anong handa nyo?

My family and I are spending Christmas at my parents’ house in Mandaluyong para mas masaya. Then we’re going to my grandparents’ house the next day to bond with my relatives and to give our presents for everyone. I’m pretty sure we’re gonna have a great time!

Have a blessed day! Mwah!

To all the dads out there…

We already celebrated it yesterday. We watched Kungfu Panda and had lunch @ SM Megamall after work. My husband and I decided not to join our yearly company outing in Subic just to be with our son.

Four years of blissful marriage

It was our 4th wedding anniversary two days ago (May 16). I took a vacation leave but unfortunately, my husband had to go to work due to some very important reasons so we were not able to go out and celebrate. So I just bought a cake when I got home from work. Daddy was still sleeping by the time I got home so I instructed Greggy to him up and say, “Happy Anniversary, daddy!” while I was holding the cake in my hand. I could tell that Greggy had a hard time pronouncing the word “anniversary” but I had him say the word many times until he mastered it.
wanna see the cake? ▼

So when daddy was finally awake, I told my son: “Greggy, what do you wanna tell your daddy?”
He hesitated for a while and said (with a big smile on his face) … “Happy Mother’s Day, daddy!”
Leo and I burst out laughing. Then I corrected him, “No, baby. Say Happy Anniversary, daddy!”
My two-year-old son frowned, stamped his feet as if he’s gonna cry and blurted: “Mommy, happy mother’s day na lang!”

Hahaha. Very funny. O sige na nga, pwede na yan! Anyways, Leo and I will celebrate our anniversary tomorrow. Off kasi namin pareho.

By the way, I have another good news. It’s something related to this post. Pero secret na lang muna. I’ll tell you about it next week. Ciao!

Something from Greggy

I was infront of my computer working on some assignments early in the morning yesterday when Greggy showed up behind me, handed me a present and said, “Happy Mother’s Day, mommy!”

Awww, I was so touched! Look at the pictures. Thanks, baby! I love you so much.

Anyway, my mom-in-law took us out for lunch at Pizza Company then we headed to the theater to watch the Iron man afterwards. To be honest, I didn’t not expect the movie to be that wonderful. The effects are mind-blowing that it made my jaw lock in awe. Astig! Panoorin nyo rin!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in the world!

So what?!

Valentine’s Day has always been just an ordinary day for me. Over the years, my point of view about it hasn’t changed — it is just an ordinary day. Period. No erase. LOL. :-)

Not that I am not romantic or anything. But I just don’t see the reason why others have to be sad when they don’t have a boyfriend or a special someone to spend it with. I mean, what’s the big fuss about not having a date? Valentine’s Day is not just merely for lovers. Let us not forget that we can also celebrate the occasion — if you’re the type who does — with our respective families.

So you might wanna know if I received any flowers from my husband?

The answer is a resounding NO. Because I was the one who told him to stop giving me flowers for practical reasons. Not that I don’t like flowers. As a matter of fact, I am quite amazed with how lovely they are. But the truth is, they don’t last very long. They wither. They die. And when they do, your hard-earned money dies with them too. Chocolates and cards are much better.

Anyway, Leo and I met up at SM Megamall after our shift to watch My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend. He wanted to see Jumper coz he does not like tagalog movies. Errr — I don’t understand men. They always claim they don’t like tagalog movies! But deep inside they do. They just don’t wanna admit it. Hahaha! Weird.

Going back to the movie, I did like the story. It’s really funny (especially Marian Rivera and the way she acts). There are scenes that made me cry too. Nakakakilig. Sobraaa! Oh well, just watch it and it’ll be worth your time and money. The last tagalog movie that I saw was that of Richard’s too (Let the love begin ata yun — with Angel Locsin). And in fairness, magaganda movies nya ha!

REWIND: Before meeting my husband at SM Megamall, I went to Mandaluyong, where my parents live, for a quick visit (Ooopps! Talk about about someone who doesn’t celebrate Valentine’s! LOL). On my way there, I saw a Mr. Donuts booth and saw this cute promo that they have for Valentine’s. It’s a small box of freshly baked donuts wrapped in a plastic with ribbons, teddy bear and a heart-shaped balloon inside. I bought one for my mom. Sayang di ko na-picturan. Na-bad trip kasi ako dahil nilipad ng hangin yung balloon while I was riding the tricycle. Grrr…Ang cute pa naman. Sayang.

Blog money

Hi, guys! Thank you for participating in the “Technorati love” campaign. I really appreciate your support. I’ve already tagged you all as my favorites. Thanks for doing the same. Keep ‘em coming!

By the way, the money that I earned from blogging for the past months has just been transferred from my Paypal account to my Eon Debit Card. So that means, pwede ko na syang ma-withdraw! The dollar amount was automatically converted to peso. Too bad mababa ang exchange rate ngayon. Click here to view the screenshot.

Oh before I forget! Thanks to Lorie for giving me this wonderful award. And I’m passing it on to Ely, Mindy, Lhadymitch, Claire, Valerie and Jhayelle.

Anyway, HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY to me! Ang tanda ko na. Hihihi. Konti na lang wala na sa kalendaryo ang edad ko, omigosh! Salamat po sa lahat ng nag-text at nag-comment sa Friendster. Mwahhh! G’nyt!
