The Frustrated Musician

It has always been my dream to be able to play musical instruments since I was a little girl.

So upon seeing this Alesis DM6 drum set, I was once again reminded of my small frustrations in life. Haha!

Alesis DM6 USB Electronic Drum set

In high school, I tried to learn playing the guitar. But the neighbor who was teaching me at the time lost his patience and gave up on me. How cruel, right?! LOL. Then later on, I tried playing drums – which was a bad idea to begin with because it only left me feeling more frustrated.

And so I finally came to my senses and realized that music wasn’t for me. :-(

I just hope and pray that my kids would develop interest in music. After all, their mom is a frustrated musician! LOL.

From Manila Papers to Projectors

I’ve learned how to use projectors in college. We used to present our class reports using MS PowerPoint, as we bid goodbye to the good old Manila papers. But working between a laptop and a projector is sometimes tricky. The latter would sometimes fail to work and we would end up consuming a precious 10-20 minutes just to set it up. Nonetheless, it proved to be a better alternative and with those kinds of presentations, we’d get the attention of the entire class. At the office, we are using an LCD DLP projector.

They say there’s a huge difference between LCD and DLP projectors, but an end-user like me is not seeing it. Who cares anyway?! *big grin*

Never!

I can ride a bike.
And I am willing to learn how to drive a car soon.

But there’s one thing I would never want to learn no matter what happens…

Never.
Not in a million years.

I will never drive a motorcycle.
Not even snapper mowers.

I will never allow my husband and my son to drive one, either. I love them too much and could not bear the thought of them getting hurt.

And this decision is FINAL. Don’t even attempt to argue with me. You won’t win.

Just Do It!

I am not good at any sports, but I love doing them anyway. :P

Sure, I can play volleyball and badminton. I love running too! But guess what — I am not good at any of them. I just enjoy doing them to stay fit and strong, so I can do many things.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re good or not, just do it anyway — with all your heart.

Sometimes I wish I could ride a horse ala equestrian. But this sport is only for elite people, I guess. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a horse and I don’t own an Hacienda (a farm estate).

To top it all off, equestrian clothing is pricey. I’m pretty sure a nice pair of riding boots would cost an arm and a leg! :P

Stressed…again.

I am not in the mood to write anything. You see, it’s been almost a month since my last update. I am just tired — both physically and mentally. I am dying to rest, be at home and have a home-service massage just like what I always do whenever I get stressed out.

I’ve been feeling sick since last week. My throat, head and nape hurt pretty badly. Good thing my flu is almost gone.

I’m going home finally.
After 15 hours of work… :15:

Question…

I have a very stupid question…

I’m just wondering if women in mid-twenties can use any anti wrinkle cream? I mean, wouldn’t it be too early if I did? Hahaha! If so, when is the best time to start using it? Age 30? 33 perhaps? Weird question! I don’t have wrinkles yet but I don’t wanna start having one when I reach 30. So I guess I’m sort of finding ways to prevent them from showing up too early. Haha! Talk about vanity!
