We’re leaving tomorrow so I’ll be on a short hiatus…again.
Be back in a few days. Whoah! Boracay, here we come!

We arrived at 8 Waves Hotel five minutes before our check-in time at 2pm (January 16, Greggy’s 2nd birthday). We stayed there for two days and paid 3,090Php per day with free breakfast at Pancake House.

This is the hotel lobby on the second floor. It’s really clean, cozy and quiet. I think we were the only guests that day.

This is our room. I’m happy that everything looks clean and new. It has its own veranda (on the right) fronting the swimming pools. The bathroom is very clean — you can turn it upside down and you won’t even see a mole of stain (no bath tub though. hehe). They provide towels that are just as good as new and they all smell clean. There’s also a small, transparent bag of free toiletries in the bathroom sink with the hotel’s name printed on them. There’s two small bottles of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream and a disposable razor – There’s even two pairs of cloth slippers! We didn’t use them so we could bring them home as souvenirs of our stay there. (except the towels, of course!)

The Safari pool. See? there’s nobody here but us! It’s like we reserved the entire resort for us! Hahaha.

Father and son…Pinagbiyak na ewan. Hahaha!

The Pancake House and The Souvenir Shop are located in the entrance of the hotel. I just grabbed these photos from their website coz all our pictures are in my pc at home (I’m at work now…ssshhhh.) Then next to the Pancake House, there’s an entrance there to the 8 Waves Waterpark Resort. That’s not the main entrance to the resort though. It’s just exclusive for the hotel guests.

We just woke up. The breakfast at Pancake House was really yummy eventhough it’s free! LOL. The resort opens at 9 since it’s lean season. Boooh again. That is way too late!

Greggy and I love this kiddie pool a lot! It’s really big and its depth is just below the knee. Plus, the Noah’s Ark is fun! Greggy collected every leaf that he saw floating in the pool and when he couldn’t hold them with his tiny hands anymore, he told me: “Mommy, throw…”. Na-touch ako, pramis!

The WAVE pool without the waves. LOL. We were only about 10 guests in the entire resort that’s why they didn’t bother turning on the wave effects. Booohhh! We only experienced the waves they’re bragging about on our 2nd day. Medyo dumami kasi ang tao. Na bigla rin namang nag-uwian nung hapon na! Hahaha. So we had all the pools by ourselves again. My son loves wading all over the pool on his own. He fell down about three times and drank some water and he didn’t even care.

Anyway, athough our original plan was to go to Boracay (two days lang kasi na-approve na leave namin!), nag-enjoy na rin kami. Coz it’s the very first time that we went out-of-town na kami lang tatlo talaga.
We’re still going to Bora this summer though. And I swear I will move heaven and earth to make it happen.
