Aside from the sumptuous buffet breakfast and dinner served at Boracay Garden Resort where we stayed for 3 days, helmet diving is one of the activities that we enjoyed the most during our vacation in Boracay last November.
We only paid 400 pesos each, which is the cheapest and the best deal we came across on the island. So make sure that you use your haggling skills!
You don’t have to worry about taking pictures and videos, a scuba diver will take care of that for you. All you gotta do is enjoy feeding the colorful fishes and the magnificent view underwater. (Tip: Don’t forget to bring some bread for the fish feeding.)
According to the instructor, these helmets weigh 30 kilos. But once you wear it underwater, it becomes 1 kilo. Amazing!
More pictures here.These food gift baskets in Phoenix remind me of the Christmas baskets I used to receive from our company when I was still working. Now that I’ve resigned, I won’t be getting a basket anymore. Not even a 13th month pay.
But it’s okay…
I’ve realized the importance of taking care of my kids more than earning money or having a successful career. No, I don’t want to be somebody in the corporate world in exchange of being apart from my children.
And yes, this is the life I’ve always wanted.
